BTS : The 7 members of Bangtan
BTS (방탄소년단) also known as Bangtan Boys/Bulletproof Boys Scout is a 7 member South Korean K-pop/Hip-hop boy group formed by Big Hit Entertainment. The group consists of Jin, Suga, J-hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook.
They launched in 2013 and have since rocketed to global stardom.
Why are BTS so successful?
There are four reasons that BTS have become as popular as they have.
1. The music
2. Their performance
3. The internet
4. The fans
I was waiting for someone to ask this question. Why do you like BTS? Ofcourse, I think everyone has different answers. But for me this is the reason why I like them. First of all:
They are different
Back then, I’m not a fan of K-pop, nor I know it. I just heard it from other people or with my friends. Well as for me, I only listens to regular American artist and musicians in my country. Well my friends recommend BTS and when I heard their songs, it feels so different. Their music was like a breath of fresh air, which takes me onto another reason.
They are so real.
Their music actually moved me. Instead of sitting their doing nothing and just listen, well, I could feel the emotion they were putting into their music. Their lyrics are well written, just like a poem. They felt real, like their music wasn’t written by someone else. Their emotion was raw. And the fact that they wrote their own music make it so much special.
Their Individuality.
Well unlike other groups, I could easily identify them. They have different personality. Each and everyone possess their own individuality. BTS all have their own personalities which makes them easy to identify. I recognized each member from their individual personality.
Constant updates.
They always update and post about their music. They were working and releasing new things for us A.R.M.Ys ( fans of BTS).
They always say `Thank You`.
During and after their performance, they say thank you to A.R.M.Y. And when they received awards and such, they never forget to say A.R.M.Y. They always thank us for being with them and for giving them support. Which is very refreshing to see.
They touch topics no one ever touches.
BTS singing about things no other idols sing about. In their songs, they talk about, social problems, political problems and economical problems, which is very different in my own perspective. It’s kind of amusing to see such people do their music with that kind of topic, that’s why they are different for me.
How BTS affect my skills?
I’m just a normal girl, with no talent or whatsoever. I feel like I can’t boost myself up when people talk about my skills specially for my talents. I mean i couldn’t show it to other people. But then, when I see BTS do their best to show their talents, I feel so motivated to show it. Now in school and my church, everyone knows that I can sing, dance or draw. It also boost my confidence.
You know, poeple may think that I’m too crazy to write this but I’m just here to express my gratitude. I’m just here to share my thoughts regards to BTS.
And this is why I gained another skills. Which is to write a blog. Ever since I became an A.R.M.Y, I do all the things that I never do before. Editing, blogging, writing stories, make my own music and such.
